Decking Solutions

Wood Decking :
Provides a natural look and feel for outdoor spaces. Can be easily repaired, sanded and stained. Much more cost effective than composite. Doesn’t retain heat. The downsides of wood decking is its lifespan, and the need for maintenance. Wood can and will rot over time even while being pressure treated.

Composite Decking :
Composite decking is extremely durable, needs no maintenance, comes in a variety of colors, and there is no chance of getting splinters. Long term, you will save money as composite decking lasts much longer and requires no maintenance. Lasts upwards of 25 years as opposed to 10-15 with wood. The downsides of composite decking are the initial cost being more expensive than wood. The look and feel is not as natural as wood of course. It can also retain heat, making it hot to touch when in direct sun.
